O atendimento é maravilhoso! Staff muito gentil e atencioso. O hotel tem uma decoração muito bonita e é bastante tranquilo para quem quer descansar.
The guest house is an old historic building, 1880, fascinating. The hosts are great and speak English among other languages. The locality really nice, so glad i didnt stay at the beach. The room by the pool is large and clean, private ensuite and air conditioning. Nice pool, nice breakfast, public transport near the guest house, but you can always walk down the hill and get a bus, taxi or streetcar back. Rio has a reputation but i found the area safe, guard in the street and many tourists, restaurants and pubs close by.

Helpful and kind staff, very charming accomodation with comfy beds and air conditioned rooms, simple but tasty breakfast each morning and lovely grounds including a pool, which is great as the beach is on the other side of town. Location was very handy to major attractions and it was easy to get taxis or walk. The area hosts many great blocos during carnival.

Ein kleines, wunderschönes Hotel im Künstlerviertel Santa Teresa. Dadurch das das Hotel nur wenige Zimmer hat, ist alles sehr familiär und entspannt. Die alte Villa ist ein Traum. Die Zimmer sind gepflegt, das Badezimmer ist sauber. Wir wurden am Flughafen abgeholt und im Hotel durch Walter freundlich begrüßt. Er spricht unter anderem Deutsch und Französisch. Das ganze Team ist sehr freundlich und bemüht. Das Frühstück ist gut und ausreichend. Die Umgebung ist eigentlich sicher und man kann sich nachts frei bewegen. Gute Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar. Zur aktuellen Sicherheitslage empfiehlt es sich trotzdem, mal kurz nachzufragen. Absolute Empfehlung, wir würden wiederkommen.
