O atendimento é excelente e a vista é fantástica.

Um lugar demais lindo, tudo perfeito, a Sol e o Matti são uns anfitriões maravilhosos, vistas espectaculares desde a terraza, café dá manhã muito gostoso e vecinos da comunidad mais que amigáveis! Muito obrigado por tudo!
Since the hostel is situated in the favela, we were a little bit sceptic, especially because we were traveling with 9-years old daughter. But everything that the hosts told us about safety issue was true and we didn't have any problems at all. So, I reccomend this place if you're looking for genuine experience in Rio, with the beautiful view and the great hosts Solange, Maurizio and Gabrielle.
The ambient, the hostess, the area! It was such a joy to stay at the pousada Favelinha! It's more like coming home than staying at a hostel. My best experience in Brazil so far! I spent a wonderful time in the pousada and will definitely return!!!
It’s pretty authentic experience, you are staying right in the middle of a favela and hang out with locals.
The view was incredible! Worth it for that alone. The room was comfortable and having a balcony was great. David came to meet us at the entrance to favela when we arrived late. We felt safe in the favela even when returning in the dark. Wifi was decent. Great roof terrace and artwork in the hostel.
I absolutely recommend pousada Favelinha! St the airport, the taxi driver didn't want to drive me there, he said "too dangerous". That's absolutely not true! I felt safe there, all the people you meet in this favela are friendly! The view from the terrace is great! I stayed in the double room, big and clean and with a wonderful balcony! Solange is simply great in managing the pousada! She gave me a lot of information about Rio! Great experience during my journey in Brasil!
Well the view is amazing day and night and Solange ( she is working there) is an incredible person with a super positive energy, always smiling, with very helpful advices and so nice. Also the other stuffs are very nice and the people in the favela are so friendly. We felt very safe and like in home. Lapa is in walking distance (25 minutes) and a bus stop is in front of the favela (5 minutes walk...up). It is quiet and the breakfast is good too. A big thank you to Solange, her daughter, Rutenio, Eddy and all the others. We will miss you.
