Great central location in the old town, comfortable and well appointed. Close to the river, restaurants and shops. Good public parking nearby. Due to delays with flight and car hire, we arrived much later than we had anticipated but Paul and Valerie were very helpful and accommodating? Wonderful stay.
The apartment is light and airy and in a lovely old part of the town. Valerie and Paul were lovely and having stayed last year we wanted to go again!
Perfect location close to the river and a few steps from cafés and restaurants. Very clean and well equipped. It was around 30 degrees outside but cool and comfortable inside. The bed was comfortable though an extra pillow would have been perfect. There is a washing machine with detergent supplied. The kitchen is well appointed with a full oven a microwave and a dishwasher. And a big plus if cooking, the knives are sharp.
A very nice apartment in a beautifully renovated ancient building, located a few steps from a picturesque waterfront (l'Yonne) and just at the edge of a town full of historic buildings and sites. The owners provided us with all the instructions needed to enjoy our stay and feel like 'God in France' for a few days ;)
We wanted to stay in authentic type accommodation in the towns we visited through Europe. This13th century building was so cool, the apartment is tastefully painted and furnished with plenty of space. Super close to restaurants, cafe, supermarket, bike rental and the city center. Owners were very friendly and helpful.
An excellent situation next to the river and the spacious well designed apartement
Our host was very accomodating and her apartment had every amenity. The location was prime for both the river and the center ville. We will come back.
Spacious high ceiling flat in period building, 50m from river front in old quarter of Auxerre. Used sofa bed in living area (but being English forgot to close shutters). Enjoyed running along river towpath in early morning.
